Bass and Electric Bass
Marian Heckenberg has enjoyed 20 years as a professional musician and performs regularly with the Adelaide, Melbourne, Queensland and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestras as well as Orchestra Victoria. She has had guest principal bass contracts with these orchestras and is a founding member of X-Collective.
She enthusiastically teaches at the Queensland Conservatorium, The Young Conservatorium (Griffith University) and at the University of Queensland.
While performance is her primary passion, she values these opportunities to help future generations of bassists in Australia.
